A Message from our Executive Board

After careful consideration, prayers and consultation, the Executive Board of the Bay Area Harbour Playhouse has decided to extend the temporary closure of the theatre through August.

While this was a very difficult decision, our primary concern is the health and safety of our loyal patrons and our dedicated artist and volunteers during this time of uncertainty due to the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

This is certainly a challenging and difficult time and our hearts go out to those who have been directly affected by this tragedy.  We have left a light on the stage brightly shining while waiting for the moment when we can be together again.  We will be back!

Please continue to be safe.

(Please watch this website and our Facebook page for future updates.)

We will be back

Due to the threat of COVID-19, all future productions are on hold for the time being. Once we all get past this, we will be back! Please keep an eye on our site and our Facebook page for any future updates.

“A single light usually on a stand, centre stage that’s left on overnight/when the theatre is empty. It’s believed to keep friendly spirits illuminated and unfriendly spirits at bay. It also means that although the theatre is empty, we will return.”

We are leaving our light on 🎭
