The Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself! Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for the Deputy Mayor’s tenth wedding anniversary, he lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive.

Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia live a comfortable, if less than satisfied, life in their childhood home, owned by their movie star older sister Masha, in Bucks County, PA.  A surprise visit from Masha and her 20-something boy toy, Spike, throws the normally quiet household into utter upheaval as Masha casually informs them she’s decided to sell their house.

When the boisterous children of the wealthy and uptight Banks family are faced with the prospect of a new nanny, they are pleasantly surprised by the arrival of the magical Mary Poppins. Embarking on a series of fantastical adventures with Mary and her chimney sweep friend, the siblings try to pass on some of their nanny’s sunny attitude to their preoccupied parents.

After the loss of her family home, Belle Reve, to creditors, Blanche DuBois travels from the small town of Laurel, Mississippi, to the New Orleans French Quarter to live with her younger sister and brother-in-law.  Blanche laments the shabbiness of her sister’s two-room flat and finds her husband loud and rough, eventually referring to him as “common”.  Blanche is in her thirties and, with no money, has nowhere else to go.

It is the summer of 1953, George and Charlotte Hay, formerly a couple of Broadway stars, have taken their run-down touring company to Buffalo, New York. In Buffalo they have the intention of running Cyrano de Bergerac and Private Lives in repertory. On the brink of a disastrous split-up caused by George’s dalliance with a young ingénue, they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom:
Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee.

On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor, Robert, contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks and even a wedding, his friends – “the good and crazy married ones” – explain the pros and cons of taking on a spouse. The habitually single Robert is forced to question his adamant retention of bachelorhood during a hilarious array of interactions.

Mrs. Stancliffe’s Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast has been successful for many years with guests (nearly all women) returning year after year.   Her would-be suitor, Henry Mitchell, a retired chemist, has developed a blue pill called “Venusia,” to increase the libido of menopausal women.  Her neighbor, Bud “The Stud” Davis, sees an opportunity when three older women arrive and he gets his hands on a few “Venusia” pills.  When the ladies mix up Bud’s Viagra & “the other blue pill”, mayhem occurs.
