NightWatchBy Lucille Fletcher

Unable to sleep, Elaine Wheeler paces the living room of her Manhattan townhouse, troubled by unsettling memories and vague fears. Her husband tries to comfort her, but when he steps away for a moment Elaine screams as she sees (or believes she sees) the body of a dead man in the window across the way. The police are called, but find nothing except an empty chair. Elaine’s terror grows as shortly thereafter she sees still another body—this time a woman’s—but by now the police are skeptical and pay no heed to her frantic pleas. Elaine’s old friend and house guest Blanche, the inquisitive and rather sinister man who lives next door, and the nosy German maid Helga all contribute to the deepening suspense and mystery of the play as it draws towards its riveting and chilling climax.

The Rain Maker

By N. Richard Nash

At the time of a paralyzing drought in the West, we find Lizzie whose father and two brothers are worried as much about her potential future as an old maid as they are about their dying cattle.  The brothers try every possible scheme to marry her off, without success. Nor is there any sign of relief from the dry heat, when suddenly, from out of nowhere, appears a picaresque, sweet-talking charmer named Starbuck with quite the sales pitch. Claiming to be a “rainmaker,” the man promises he can bring rain.  While attempting to make rain, young Starbuck turns his attention to Ms. Lizzie.  Does it rain?  Does love find its way to Lizzie’s heart?

The Odd Couple

The classic comedy of two mismatched roommates–but this time they are female!  Neat, uptight Florence Unger meets slovenly, easygoing Olive Madison.  Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for an evening of Trivial Pursuit. Olive and their group of girlfriends are enjoying the weekly game night in Olive’s messy and ill-equipped apartment without Florence. As the group begins to wonder why Florence is late, she arrives, fresh from being dumped by her husband. Fearful that the neurotic Florence might attempt suicide, Olive invites her to move in as her roommate. As expected, mayhem and hilarity abound.

The Dining Room

By A.R. Gurney

The play is set in the dining room of a typical well-to-do household, the place where the family assembles daily for breakfast and dinner and for any and all special occasions.  A mosaic of interrelated scenes from the 1930s through the 1980s—some funny, some touching, some rueful— create an in-depth portrait of a family and its dynamic relationships.
